' CHAPTER 49 <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR <br /> (As Amended By Ordinance No. 85-24 <br /> on April 29 , 1985 ) <br /> 1. Words and phrases in this Chapter which are defined in <br /> applicable statute shall have and be given the same meaning and <br /> definition as therein set out unless expressly otherwise pro- <br /> vided herein. <br /> 2 . The Mayor shall be the Local Liquor Control <br /> Commissioner with such duties and powers as may be provided by ��i <br /> law or ordinance. II <br /> 3 . No person, firm or corporation shall sell alcoholic li <br /> liquor at retail without then having a currently in force local <br /> liquor license issued to such person or entity as provided <br /> herein for the premises whereon such sale takes place, Each <br /> license and tne privileges thereunder shall expire and <br /> terminate on the 30th day of June next following the issue date <br /> thereof . <br /> 4 . Classes of local liquor licenses are hereby <br /> established and are hereby authorized as follows : <br /> Class A, under which alcoholic liquor may be sold <br /> for consumption on or off the licensed premises , <br /> • which said Class A license shall not be issued <br /> for any premises situated in any Residence , <br /> Office , Park Mobile Home or Neighborhood Shopping <br /> District established by the Zoning Ordinance . <br /> 4 /85 <br />
