Foster Family Care - Webster-Cantrell Hall has 20 licensed <br /> foster families that it recruits, supervises and monitors. These <br /> Foster Families care for children and youth from ages 0 to 18 who <br /> can benefit from living in a substitute family. Counseling is <br /> provided to the Foster Family, the children in their care and the <br /> natural families when possible. <br /> 5 • In-Home Counselin -A consortium of three agencies provides Com- <br /> prehensive Youth Services. The other agencies are Youth Advocate <br /> Program and Day Probation and Education. The Webster-Cantrell Hall <br /> service involves counseling with youth and their families with the <br /> purpose of preserving the family unit. <br /> �vebster-Cantrell Hall is proposing to build a new facility for <br /> the Co-ed Group Home program. This is not adding nor expanding a <br /> program. It is to move from rented facilities at 2601 N. Union <br /> into a specifically designed new facility owned by Webster-Cantrell <br /> Hall . Webster-Cantrell Hall is requesting a Special Use Permit to <br /> build a building to house 10 adolescents . The program will be <br /> licensed by the State Department of Children and Family Services <br /> (DCFS ) as a Group home. <br /> This will be a one story brick exterior building that will be <br /> �n asset to the surrounding area. Each youth will have their own <br /> bedroom. There wiil be ample dining, living, kitchen, recreation I <br /> a.^.d counseling areas . <br />
