<br /> ORDINANCE REGARDING PAY AND CERTAIN
<br /> BENEFITS - POLICE, FIRE, GENERAL
<br /> SERVICES AND MANAGEMENfi SERVICE�S
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS :
<br /> Section 1. That until the further order of the Council,
<br /> and effective as of May 1, 1982 , and subject to the applicable
<br /> provisions of existing ordinance or administrative order not
<br /> inconsistent herewith, those positions assigned by ordinance or
<br /> administrative order to pay grades or ranges in the police, fire
<br /> or general services be, and they are hereby, authorized to have
<br /> attached thereto, and employee occupying said positions on May
<br /> 1 , 1982 , be, and they are hereby, authorized to be paid, the
<br /> respective salary or wage set out for each such grade or range
<br /> as shown on Exhibit A for the police service , Exhibit B for the
<br /> fire service and Exhibit C for the general service, said Exhibits
<br /> A, B and C being attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 2. That until the further order of the Council
<br /> and effecfive May 1, 1982 , and subject to applicable provisions
<br /> of ordinance or administrative order not inconsistent herewith,
<br /> positions assigned to the management service be, and they are
<br /> hereby authorized to have attached thereto and eTnployees
<br /> occupying the same on May 1, 1982 � be, and they are hereby,
<br /> authorized to be paid salares within the ranges set out for
<br /> the respective grades to which the same are assigned as follows :
