; � �l1 <br /> � � ��� <br /> f • <br /> . ! • g ���^n <br /> . r;,;�'il Vi (�1'� <br /> � � <br /> ORDINANCE N0 . 84-57 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CALL AND <br /> REDEMPTION PRIOR TO THEIR MATURITY OF <br /> CERTAIN OUTSTANDING AND UNPAID MOTOR <br /> VEHICLE PARKING SYSTEA4 REVENUE BONDS, <br /> SERIES 1966, DATED NOVEMBER 1, 1966, OF <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR, MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS . <br /> � � * <br /> WHEREAS the Council of the City of Decatur, Macon <br /> County, Illinois, on October 3, 1966, adopted an ordinance <br /> providing for the issuance of $5, 400, 000 Motor Vehicle Parking <br /> System Revenue Bonds , Series 1966, of said City, which said <br /> ordinance is in full force and effect; and <br /> WHEREAS all of said Motor Vehicle Parking System Revenue <br /> Bonds, Series 1966 (the "Bonds" ) currently outstanding mature on <br /> May 1, 1996, and are currently sub�ect to redemption and payment <br /> prior to their maturity, at the option of the City, and funds are <br /> now on hand anci legally available in the Motor Vehicle Parking <br /> Syster� Revenue Fund of said City which will be invested in direct <br /> obligations of the United States of America ( "Government Securities" ), <br /> which will be sufficient, together with the investment income <br /> thereon, to pay in full the interest which will become due on <br /> said outstanding and unpaid Bonds up to and including the date <br /> that said bonds shall be redeemed prior to their maturity, namely, <br /> November 1, 1992; and <br /> WHEREAS it is necessary and for the best interest of <br /> the City that said Bonds of the City be called for redemption <br /> prior to their maturity and that a special escrow agreement be <br /> entered into between the City and The Citizens National Bank of <br />
