� <br /> • CHAPTER 49 <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR <br /> (As Amended By Ordinance No. 84-38 <br /> on June 1 <br /> 8 , 1984 ) <br />, 1. Words and hrases in this Cha ter whic <br /> p h are def ined <br /> P <br /> in a lic b <br />� pp a le statute shall have and be given the same <br />� meaning and definition as therein set out unless expressly <br /> i <br /> otherwise provided herein. <br /> 2. The Mayor shall be the Local Liquor Control <br /> Commissioner with such duties and powers as may be provided <br /> by law or ordinance. <br /> 3 . No person, firm or corporation shall sell alcoholic <br /> • liquor at retail without then having a currently in force <br /> local liquor license issued to such person or entity as <br /> provided herein for the premises whereon such sale takes <br /> place . Each license and the privileges thereunder shall <br /> expire and terminate on the 30th day of June next following <br /> the issue date thereof. <br /> 4 . Classes of local liquor licenses are hereby <br /> established and are hereby authorized as follows : <br /> Class A, under which alcoholic liquor may be sold <br /> for consumption on the licensed premises , and <br /> coincident to and in conjunction with, and only <br /> coincident to and in conjunction with, the active <br /> and substantial exercise of that privilege, <br /> alcoholic liquor also may be sold in packages for <br /> consumption off the licensed premises , which said <br /> Class A license shall not be issued for any <br /> premises situated in any Residence, Office, Park <br /> • Mobile Home or Neighborhood Shopping District <br /> established by the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 6/84 <br />
