� __`�� <br /> ORDINANCE N0. � �--� <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC <br /> - MARYLAND HEIGHTS ROAD - <br /> - WARREIV STREET - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, all trucks or other vehicles of the Second <br /> Division, as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, which have <br /> a Class C or higher letter ( greater weight ) license from the <br /> State of Illinois , or equivalent weight licenses issued by <br /> another state, are prohibited and excluded from the use of <br /> Maryland Heights Road from the east right of way of Route 51 <br /> to a point 450 feet east of Warren Street; and on Warren <br /> Street from the south right of way of Maryland Heights Road <br /> to the north right of way of Mound Road; provided, that, such <br /> prohibition of use shall not extend to fire, police or other <br /> emergency vehicles , school buses , and trucks which have a <br /> Class C or higher letter ( greater weight ) license which are <br /> stored or garaged in an empty condition on property fronting <br /> on said streets or are making service calls or deliveries to <br /> residences , businesses and construction sites located on <br /> said streets . <br /> Section 2 . That any person, firm or corporation who <br /> shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall <br /> upon conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ( $1. 00 ) <br /> nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ( $200 .00 ) for each offense. <br /> Section 3 . That the provisions of all ordinances or <br /> parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance insofar as the same are in conf lict with said pro- <br /> visions be, and the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 5th day <br /> of March, 1984 . � <br /> �,. <br /> � <br /> ATTEST: MAYOR <br /> � . � <br /> TY CL RK <br /> PUBLISHED this ��ay of March, 1984 . <br /> � ` � <br />
