(a) . The furnishing (by rental or otherwise) and the subsequent <br /> removal of the necessary signs, barricades and traffic control <br /> ' devices for reconstructing the crossing. <br /> (b) . The removal and the subsequent renewai of the existing crossing <br /> approaches and adjacent sidewalks up to the ends of NWRY track <br /> ties with concrete material . <br /> (c). Incidental work necessary to complete the items hereinabove <br /> specified. <br /> (2) . WORK BY THE P11JRY. The P1WRY sha11 furnish, or cause to be furnished, <br /> at the expense of the PI��1RY, a11 of the labor, materials and work <br /> equipment required to perform and complete, <br /> (a). The removal and the subsequent renewal of the existing grade <br /> crossing proper over the N4lRY`s tracks using prefabricated <br /> rubber s1a6 materTal over the traveled lanes to extend to <br /> the limTts shown on Exhibit A. Th1s worlc will include the <br /> installation of new ties, balTast, filter fabric and pipe <br /> underdrains. <br /> (b) . Incidental work necessary to complete the items hereinabove <br /> specified. <br /> The estimated total cost of the work to be performed hereunder by ihe P�WRY <br /> at the expense of the NL�1RY as outlined above is �88,000, contemplated by the <br /> approved detailed estimate of cost attached hereto. Hou�tever, for this project <br /> the CI7Y agrees to reimbursehthe P1WRY for material cost only covering the rubber <br /> crossing, drainage pipe and drainage fabric estimated to be �51 ,000. <br /> SECTION 3. Upon the completion of the work herein contemplated, the ��:�JRY <br /> shall maintain, at its expense, the renewed grade crossing proper, and the CITY, <br /> at its expense, sha11 maintain the street up to the ends of the track ties. <br /> - 2 - <br /> � � � � � � � <br /> —- - -- ---- -- - .. , , , <br />
