Morris requesting that the.re <br /> be annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> Lot Seventy-One (71) of Ellendale Addition as per <br /> Plat recorded in Book 646 Page 279 of the records <br /> in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said Petition is signed by the owners <br /> of record of all land within such territory and by at least <br /> 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory <br /> is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits <br /> of any City, Village or Incorporated Town or other municipality; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereoi <br /> be, and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, <br /> along with all parts of public hiqhways tnerein or next and i <br /> ad�acent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and <br /> the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into <br /> the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal <br /> corporation. <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is <br /> attached hereto and made• a part hereof. <br />
