v <br /> ORDINANCE N0. � � — a 3 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS ��{,���' { <br /> - UNION AND PACKAR.D STREETS� - . . ,.,_, <br /> BE IT ORDAI?VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY �F DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Packard Street approaching <br /> Church Street from either the East or the tiJest shall stop and yield <br /> the right-of-way to vehicles on Church Street which have entered <br /> the intersection of said streets or which are approaching so <br /> closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said <br /> driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed <br /> at such time as a safe interval occurs . <br /> Section 2 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Union Street approaching <br /> Packard Street from either the North or the South shall stop and <br /> yield the right-of-way to vehicles on Packard Street which have <br /> entered the intersection of said streets or which are approaching <br /> so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said <br /> driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed <br /> at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3 . That when appronriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Union Street approaching � <br /> Green Street from either the North or the South shall stop and <br /> yield the right-of-way to vehicles on Green Street which have <br /> entered the intersection of said streets or which are approaching <br /> so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said <br /> driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed <br /> at such time as a safe interval occurs . <br /> Section 4.
