.:;�"'� <br /> �.t< .�,,. <br /> ��ee���`' , <br /> ORDINAPdCE NO . � � —o � <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INT�RSECTIONS <br /> - MEADOWLARK DRIVE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1 . That when appropriate signs are erected <br /> giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Meadowlark <br /> Drive approaching Hummingbird Drive from either the <br /> Southwest or Northeast shall stop and yield the right-of- <br />, way to vehicles on Hummingbird Drive which have entered the <br /> intersection of said streets or which are approaching so <br /> closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but <br /> said driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way <br /> may proceed at such tine as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected <br /> giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Dove <br /> Drive approaching Meadowlark Drive from either the South <br /> or Northwest shall stop and yield the right-of-way to <br /> vehicles on Meadowlark Drive which have entered the inter- <br /> section of said streets or which are approaching so closely <br /> thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver <br /> having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed <br /> at such time as a safe interval occurs . <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who <br /> shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, <br /> upon conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) <br /> nor more than Two Hundred Dollars , ($200 . 00) for each offense . <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVE�J AND RECORDED this 24th day <br /> of January, 1983 . <br /> �<�)G�y�t�=� /,�/ <br /> ATTEST: <br />
