�������F1LMF.D <br /> ORDINANCE N0. ��� <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC <br /> 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th STREETS <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving Y <br /> notice thereof, all trucks or other vehicles of the Second <br /> Division, as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, which have <br /> a Class C or higher letter (greater weight) license from the <br /> State of Illinois , or equivalent weight licenses issued by <br /> another state, are prohibited and excluded from the use of 23rd, <br /> 24th, 25th and 26th Streets between William Street and Eldorado <br /> Street ; provided, that , such prohibition of use shall not extend <br /> to fire, police or other emergency vehicles , school buses , and <br /> trucks which have a Class C or higher letter (greater weight) <br /> license which are making service calls or deliveries to <br /> residences , businesses and construction sites located on said <br /> streets . <br /> Section 2 . That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3 . That the provisions of all ordinances or <br /> parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance insofar as the same are in conflict with said pro- <br /> visions be, and the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED and RECORDED this 22nd day <br /> of March, 1982 . <br /> � <br /> � <br /> ATTEST: <br /> � , I <br /> CIT ' <br /> PUBLISHED this,���day of , 1982.
