The following numbered sections in said Code <br /> are hereby modified and amended as herein indicated: <br /> (a) M-110 .6 by substituting the words "City <br /> Manager" in lieu of the words "mechanical official" <br /> therein. <br /> (b) M-312 . 9 .2 by substituting the figure 6 for <br /> the figure 26 therein. <br /> (c) M-600 .1 by substituting a comma for the period <br /> therein and adding after such comma "but shall not be <br /> applied to or govern the installation, repair or maintenance <br /> of the natural gas distribution system of and maintained <br /> by Illinois Power Company to and including the discharge <br /> side of its meters on premises of consumers . " <br /> (d) M-800 .1 by substituting a comma for the last <br /> period therein and by adding after such comma "or self <br /> contained air conditioner units of a rated heat removal <br /> capacity of 20, 000 b.t.u. or less riounted in window <br /> openings so located that pedestrian traffic will not pass <br /> below the same. <br /> (e) M-900 . 3 by, in lieu of the provisions thereof, <br /> substituting "Crematories and incinerators may be inspected <br /> from time to time as the mechanical official may determine <br /> or direct. <br /> Section 8 . It shall be unlawful to do m�chanical work in <br /> the City unless and until permit for the same has been obtained <br /> when required by and issued in accordance with the provisions of <br /> the Building Code and the Building Ordinance. <br /> Section 9 . The amount of the fee required to accompany <br /> the application for a permit and to be paid to the City Treasurer <br /> shall be determined by the mechanical official based upon the <br /> value of the proposed work in amounts as follows : <br />'� <br />
