Dunn requesting that there be annexed <br /> to the City territory described as : <br /> The South Half of Lot 6 of Fairground Homesite <br /> Addition as per plat recorded in Book 802 page <br /> 112 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> reco=d of all I.and within such territory and by at least 51� of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous <br /> to the City and not within the corporate limits of any City, Village <br /> or Incorporated Town or other municipality; and, <br /> FIHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has <br /> been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATIIR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. �'hat said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated inta the limi.ts of th� <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Sectian 3. That a plat of said annexed pre.*nises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4 .
