CHAPTER 68 <br /> SEWER CONNECTIONS <br /> 1. Before any pipe, conduit, out-fall, sewer or drain <br /> is connected with any existing sewer of the City, or any <br /> existing sewer under the jurisdiction or control of the <br /> City, a permit to make such connection shall be obtained <br /> from the Department of Public Works of the City upon <br /> application furnishing such information in such form as may <br /> i <br /> be required by the Director of said D.epartment to enable <br /> the City to conveniently locate, inspect and make a record <br /> of such connection;. to determine the mechanical sufficiency <br /> of said connection and the service proposed to be accomp- <br /> lished thereby; and, to otherwise carry out the work and <br /> duties of the various concerned departments of the City <br /> and serve the purposes and provisions of the ordinances , <br /> rules and regulations thereof. <br /> 2. No such connection shall be made until all � <br /> ; <br /> applicable fees or charges elsewhere provided by ordinance, <br /> along with a connection charge in an amount determined as � <br /> provided in this Chapter, are paid. <br /> 3.
