- � Chapter 10 <br /> (b) To enforce, collect, compromise or settle <br /> all judgments, orders or decrees entered <br /> in favor of the City; <br /> (c) To from time to time retain attorneys other <br /> than members of the department when it is <br /> deemed by it necessary or desirable so to do; <br /> (d) To generally advise the Council, the City <br /> Manager, City officers and employees on <br /> matters pertaining to City affairs; <br /> (e) To prepare or approve all contracts, leases , <br /> land acquisition or disposal matters or <br /> other legal documents on behalf of the <br /> City including special assessments; <br /> (f) To prosecute ordinance violations; and, <br /> (g) To perform such other functions and duties <br /> as may be assigned from time to time by the <br /> City Manager. <br />
