� Chapter 11 <br /> (b) Cause to be provided necessary engineering <br /> service for projects of the City including <br /> those of the Board of Local Improvements; <br /> (c) Cause to be prepared plans and specifications <br /> for, and to cause to be provided supervision <br /> of construction of, public improvements of <br /> the City, or the Board, including the <br /> inspection of workmanship and materials and <br /> the enforcement of ordinance and contract <br /> provisions; <br /> (d) Cause to be prepared and approved estimates <br /> for payment; <br /> (e) Cause to be prepared and kept on file maps, <br /> plats, profiles and surveys as may be <br /> necessary or desirable of all grades and <br /> boundaries of streets and alleys and the <br /> location of water mains and sewers; <br /> (f) Control curb-cuts, driveways and access <br /> on City streets and ways; <br /> (g) Install and maintain traffic signs and other <br /> control devices or cause such to be done <br /> under its supervision as it may dee� <br /> necessary or desirable; <br /> (h) Cause the streets and alleys to be repaired, <br /> maintained and improved as may be from time <br /> to time deesned necessary or desirable and to <br /> supervise the construction and repair of <br /> sidewalks; <br /> (i) Construct, maintain, improve, repair, inspect <br /> and clean the City sewers and drains or <br /> cause such to be done under its supervision, <br /> as it may deem necessary or desirable; <br /> (j ) Control and keep records of connections to <br /> City sewers and drains; , <br /> (k) Keep comprehensive records of applications, ', <br /> permits, certificates, inspections and <br /> reports connected with its work and <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />
