Chapter 13 <br /> �b� Cause all accounts of the City to be audited <br /> annually by independent auditors and the <br /> report thereof transmitted to the City <br /> Manager and the Council and to any other <br /> officer required by law; <br /> (c) Cause to be inventoried all property of the <br /> City of whatever nature and to keep records. <br /> of the acquisition, retention and disposition <br /> thereof; <br /> (d) Cause the daily deposit of funds of the Citv <br /> in authorized depositories of the City. <br /> (e) Collect, account for and apply special <br /> assessments or special taxes as provided by <br /> law or ordinance and process delinquent <br /> payments thereof; <br /> (f) Cause to be kept detailed registers and <br /> accounts of all City bonds; <br /> (g) Keep and preserve the official records of the <br /> City and all deeds, bonds, contracts, notes , <br /> mortgages, warrants , books and papers of <br /> the City, except those directed by law or <br /> ordinance to be kept elsewhere, and keep <br /> records thereof; <br /> (h) Perform such other functions and duties as <br /> may be assigned from time to time by the <br /> City Manager. <br /> 5 . There is hereby created the office of City Clerk <br /> the occupant whereof shall be appointed, and may be removed <br /> by, the Mayor with the approval of the Council. <br /> 6 . The City Clerk shall act as Clerk of the Council <br /> and the Local Liquor Control Commission and shall be keeper <br /> of the City seal and of the code, ordinances, resolutions, <br /> minutes and other records and documents of the City, <br /> except those by law or ordinance required to be kept by � <br />
