r � � � • � • ��D�.i�e� ORDINANCE N0. - � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHERE.AS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Alan S. Roberson and Carol M. Roberson requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as : The East 219. 13 feet of the West 329.13 feet of the West Half of the West H�3.f of the South Half of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M. Except the North 135 feet thereof; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51$ of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any City, Village or Incorporated Town or other municipalitg; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THLREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF '� DECATUR, ILLINOIS : �', Section l. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adj.acent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limi.ts of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 4. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorde� of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
