��i�M� <br />� ORDINANCE NO. � � - 0 <br /> __._�_� <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That the intersection of Decatur Street with <br /> Oakland Avenue in the City of Decatur, Illinois , be and the same <br /> is hereby, designated and established as a four-way stop inter- <br /> section. <br /> Section 2 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said intersection from <br /> any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, shall yield the <br /> right of way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection from <br /> another direction or which is approaching so closely on the roadway <br /> as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time when said vehicle <br /> is moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter having so <br /> stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe interval <br /> occurs. <br /> Section 3 . That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction, <br /> be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) nor more than Two Hundred <br /> Dollars ($200 . 00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4 .
