.������FlLMED <br /> ORDINANCE NO.� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Pythian Avenue <br /> approaching Church Street from either the east or west shall <br /> stop and yield the right-of-way to vehicles on Church Street <br /> which have entered the intersection of said streets or which <br /> are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate <br /> hazard, but said driver having so stopped and yielded the <br /> right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Johns Avenue approaching <br /> 19th Street from either the east or west shall stop and yield the <br /> right-of-way to vehicles on 19th Street which have entered the <br /> intersection of said streets or which are approaching so closely <br /> thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver <br /> having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at <br /> such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3.
