�IOCR�j� <br /> ORDINANCE NO.� �p <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That the intersection of 26th Street and <br /> Wood Street in the City of Decatur, Illinois , be, and the <br /> same is hereby , designated and established as a four-way stop <br /> intersection. <br /> Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected <br /> giving notice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said <br /> intersection from any direction, shall stop and after having <br /> stopped, shall yield the right of way to any vehicle which <br /> has entered the intersection from another direction or which is ' <br /> approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an ' <br /> immediate hazard during the time when said vehicle is moving I <br /> across or within the intersection, and thereafter having so I <br /> stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe <br /> interval occurs . <br /> Section 3 . That any person, firm or corporation who <br /> shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall <br /> upon conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) nor <br /> more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4 .
