. � <br /> r ' �ob�i�.������ <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �� � <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, <br /> and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the <br /> petition under oath of Vincent H. Gauchel and LaVerne M. <br /> Gauchel requesting that there be annexed to the City terri- <br /> tory described as: <br /> Lot 37 of Greenlake Addition, as per <br /> Plat recorded in Book 30d, Page 330 <br /> of the Records in the Recorder' s <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois; <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners <br /> of record of all land within such territory and by at least <br /> 51 percent of the electors residing therein, and that said <br /> territory is contiguous to the City and not within the cor- <br /> porate limits of any City, Village or Incorporated Town or <br /> other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notic e of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That said petition and the request thereof <br /> be, and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and <br /> adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the <br /> same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the <br /> limits of the City of d�ecatur, Illinois, a municipal corpor- <br /> ation. <br /> Section 3 .
