The U.S.Department of Housing <br /> and Urban Development reviewed and approved the City's Annual Action Plan for FY 16-17. This year's allocation includes <br /> $1,268,061 in Community Development Block Grant funds and$327,118 in HOME Investment Partnership funds. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD),the <br /> Neighborhood Outreach Division develops an Annual Action Plan. The Annual Action Plan describes funding allocations for <br /> Fiscal Year 2016-17 along with strategic implementation of the priorities identified in the City's Five Year Consolidated Plan,FY <br /> 2015-2019. The City Council reviewed and approved the CDBG and HOME funds during the adoption of the City's budget. <br /> The FY 16-17 Annual Action Plan is available for public review in three locations: Decatur Public Library,Decatur Housing <br /> Authority Administrative Office,and the Development Services Department.
