Thst Thi: Inahument W <br /> ' � �.j, r �.�.�''����'�� �� �adAt.�,Q.:,�Q,_,_pM� Filed For <br /> � Ar�d <br /> � � ORDINANCE rro. o-1 O � , DEC 31 1980 <br /> � �,. <br /> ORDINANCE GRANTING CONDITIONAL �°���n�k 2061 � Ri <br /> AND LIMITED VARIANCE OF MINIMUM �� � <br /> PARKING SPACE REGULATIONS �v" . ` �"• <br /> ee 8�___00_�h$�d <br /> �eeds <br /> WHEREAS, Decatur Housing Authority, is developing the <br /> premises in the City of Decatur, Illinois, described on <br /> Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof, and <br /> said Decatur Housing Authority proposes to construct thereon <br /> certain improvements to be used as housing for elderly families <br /> of low income; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said Decatur Housing Authority has requested that <br /> the parking and loading requirements of the City be varied by <br /> reducing the minimum number of required motor vehicle parking <br /> spaces to be constructed and maintained on said site appurtenant <br /> to said use to 50 percent of that number which would otherwise <br /> be required by said regulations in the R-6 Multiple Family <br /> District; and, � <br /> WHEREAS, after notice as provided by law and ordinance, the <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals on December 11, 1980 , held a public <br /> hearing upon such request and did report and recommend that <br /> the same be granted and said regulations be varied as so limited <br /> and conditioned. <br /> __ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That the report and recommendation of the <br /> Decatur Zoning Board of Appeals be, and the same is hereby, <br /> received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2 . That subject to the limitations and conditions <br /> hereinafter set out, the parking and 'loading regulations of the <br /> City be, and they are hereby, as to said premises varied by <br /> reducing the minimum number of motor vehicle parking spaces re- <br /> quired to 50 percent of that number which would otherwise be <br /> required in the R-6 Multiple Family District. <br /> Section 3 . That �the variance herein granted be, and the <br /> same is hereby, limited and conditioned to obtain and remain in <br /> force only so long as the use of said premises is restricted so <br /> that not less than three-fourths of the dwelling units therein <br /> are limited to housing for elderly families of low income as <br /> the same is defined in Ordinance No. 3512, as amended, the same <br /> being the Zoning Ordinance, and said variance shall expire <br /> automatically if such use is discontinued or another use is <br /> implemented on said premises . <br /> BOGn���� �a'�� �� <br />
