D -/Z a-- <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of Raymond Schollenbruch and others requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> Lots Three (3) and Nineteen (19) of Linden Lea <br /> Addition as per plat recorded in Book 802 <br /> Page 35 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of the <br /> electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous <br /> to the City and not within the corporate limits of any City, Village <br /> or Incorporated Town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has <br /> been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l . That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, <br /> annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4 .
