Situated in Macon County, Illinois; <br /> and said corporation proposes to construct thereon certain <br /> improvements to be used as housing for elderly families of low <br /> income; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said corporation has requested that the parking and <br /> loading requirements of the City be varied by reducing the minimum <br /> number of required motor vehicle parking spaces to be constructed <br /> and maintained on said site appurtenant to said use to 62� of <br /> that number which would otherwise be required by said regulations in <br /> the R-6 Multiple Family District; and, <br /> WHEREAS� said corporation has represented and agreed that ar.y <br /> such variance may be limited and conditioned and said limitations <br /> and conditions may be made a matter of record and a restriction upon <br /> and in the title of said premises for the benefit of the health, <br /> safety and welfare of the community to, among other things enhance <br /> the quiet, peace arid repose of the neighborhood of said premises and <br /> lessen or prevent the congestion of motor vehicles upon its streets , <br /> and that the same may be enforced by the City in its own name by any <br /> appropriate action including injunction; and, <br /> WHEREAS , after notice as provided by law and ordinance, the <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals on September 11 , 1980 , held a public hearing <br /> �:pon such request and did report and recommend that the same be <br /> granted and said regulations be varied as so limited and conditioned. <br />
