The door was . <br /> unlocked and most of the windows broken out. It is a haven <br /> for transients, litter and rats. If the building were put to <br /> any use, safeguarded and cleaned up, almost any use would be <br /> an improvement. <br /> The petition requests approval for use of sorted plastics. <br /> It would be increasing the fire load to some degree. <br /> If the proposed plastics are not pyroxylin plastics (highly <br /> flammable, for use in paints, lacquers, celluloid) and the building <br /> is cleaned up and secured, we have no objections to a 1600 sq. ft. <br /> storage area. <br /> , <br />
