� � � ,�IIW�OF�LM�, <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 8 4 — � 4 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR <br /> WHEREAS, the �following described territory is owned <br /> by the City of Decatur, Illinois , is uninhabited and unincorporated <br /> and is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois: <br /> The Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section <br /> Seventeen (17) , Township Sixteen (16) North, Range <br /> Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. , lying North and East of <br /> the Sangamon River, EXCEPT Beginning at the Northeast <br /> corner of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of <br /> Section 17, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the <br /> 3rd P.M. , and extending thence South 345 feet along <br /> the East line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast <br /> 1/4 of said Section 17; thence West 600 feet; thence <br /> North 345 feet; thence East 600 feet to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That the territory aforesaid in this Ordinance <br /> described be, and the same is hereby, incorporated into the limits <br /> of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation, and is <br /> hereby annexed to said City. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereo£. <br /> Section 3.
