A �inal plat, includinq �inal plats �or all phases os <br /> aay multi-phasa subdiviaion, must be tiled �or approval wit!�in two <br /> y�a� o� the dat� o� the approval o� the p:elimir.ary olat, provided <br /> that th• Council may qrant extensiona �or successive periods. If no <br /> tiQal, plat is �il�d �or approval within said two years , or any <br /> wxt�rnsion thtr�o�, th� euthority to proceed with the installati.on of <br /> th� tequir�d irnprov�ments and the preparation of the final plat is <br /> t�rminat�d and the previously approved preliminary plat is null and <br /> v�oid as to all phases or portions not tiled gor final aperoval. <br /> 6-2. A subdivi3�r shall file a ginal plat wit:� the Department <br /> o� Community Development. The original �lat, plus fifteen t15) c' <br /> �opies th�reot, toqether with the original owner' s declaration <br /> plus three copiea thereof, shall be filed, provi3ed that, in the <br /> c�se o! a ininor subdivision, only the oriqinal plat and owner' s <br /> daclar�.�ion plus three copies of each are required tc be filed; .� <br /> ho�rav�r, should ta� tinal plat of a minor subdivision be referred <br /> to the City Council for approval , the subdi�ider shall �ubmit <br /> twelve i12) additiona� copies of the final plat upon reqaest of the <br /> Department of Community Development. <br /> 6-3. A !`inal p2at shall : � <br /> (a) Show the boundary lines of the area being <br /> subdivided with accurate distances and angles. :he correct <br /> leqal description of the �roperty beinq subdivided shall be <br /> shown un the plat, or an accompanying certificace.
