� ;�_ �� <br /> -�� ' ' ` <br /> . i. � .- • ���� <br /> ORDINANCE NO.�_3 5 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING PERSONNEL ORDINAi�10E <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DEC�ITUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That Ordinance P1o . 78-28 , the Pe�sonnel Ordinance , <br /> be, and the same is hereby, amended at Section 7-1 of Chapter 7 , <br /> Section 8-5 of Chapter 8 , Section 10-1 (d) of Chapter 10 and <br /> Sections 13-2 and 13-4 of Chapter 13 so that as so amended said <br /> sections shall provide as follows : <br /> 7-1 . The length of annual vacations for full-time <br /> employees, except for employees in the police and fire <br /> servicEs , shall be as follows : <br /> (a) after completion of one year continuous service <br /> uninterrupted. by resignation or discharge, 10 duty days; <br /> (b) after completion of eight years continuous <br /> service uninterrupted by resignation or discharge, 15 duty <br /> days; <br /> (c) after completion of fifteen years continuous <br /> service uninterrupted by resigr_ation or discharge, <br /> 20 duty days . <br /> 8-5 . To be eligible for holiday pay, the ermployee shall j <br /> be in pay status his last schedulec� duty day before the ! <br /> holiday and his first scheduled duty day after the holiday ; <br /> unless absence on either or both of the duty days is approved 'i <br /> by the Department Head. � <br /> 10-1 (d) . grandchildren and grandparents of the employee I�� <br /> for employees in the police and general services , and i <br /> grandchildren and grandparents of the employee and of the I, <br /> employee 's spouse for employees in the fire service. ! <br /> 13-2 . In the event that personal articles of clothing, I <br /> uniform, equipment or property up to $100 . 00 in value are <br /> damaged or lost in the line of duty and without negligence <br /> by employees in the fire and general services , tne same shall <br /> be repaired or replaced by the City; if items of personal <br /> property are lost or damaged in tne line of duty and without <br /> negligence by employees in the police service, said employees <br /> will be compensated for the same up to a maximum of $150 .00 <br /> per item. <br />
