ORDINANCE N0.�5 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS , on the 7th day of February, 1980 , upon due notice, <br /> the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the <br /> petition of Karen Mendica to rezone premises described as : <br /> Commencing at a brass plate at the Northeast corner <br /> of the N.E. Quarter of said Section 29 ; thence <br /> Westerly along the North line of said N.E. Quarter <br /> on a bearing of N 89° 59 ' 0 .15" West a distance of <br /> 93. 10 feet to a point; thence Southerly on a bearing <br /> of S 0° 00 ' S8 . 5" West a distance of 25 .00 feet <br /> to a point on the South Right-of-way line of Maryland <br /> Street, said point being the place of beginning; thence <br /> Southeasterly along said South Right-of-way line on a <br /> bearing of South 59° 38 ' 07.5" East a distance of 52 .11 <br /> feet to a point, said point being the intersection of the <br /> said South Right-of-way line of Maryland Street and the <br /> West Right-of-way line of S.B. I. 121; thence Southerly <br /> along the said West Right-of-way line on a bearing of <br /> South 0° 04 ' 45. 0" West a distance of 173. 67 feet to <br /> a point; thence Westerly on a bearing of North 89° 59 ' <br /> 01 . 5" West a distance of 225 .00 feet to a point; thence <br /> Northerly on a bearing of North 0° 04 ' 45 .0" East a distance <br /> of 200 . 00 feet to a point on the South Right-of-way <br /> line of Maryland Street; thence Easterly along the said <br /> Right-of-way line on a bearing of South 89° 59 ' 01 .5" <br /> East a distance of 180 . 00 feet to the Point of Beginning <br /> and containing in all 44 ,408 square feet or 1 .0�9 acres, <br /> more or less; <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS , the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br />
