Since this <br /> Ordinance was passed,the state has amended the Cannabis Control Act and the Drug Paraphernalia Control Act,reducing <br /> possession of cannabis 10 grams or less to a civil violation(previously a Class B misdemeanor), possession of more than 10 <br /> grams to 30 grams a Class B misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia while in possession of 10 grams or less of <br /> cannabis a civil violation affecting Subsection M of the City's Chapter 34,Section 37.
