No water main sha11 be connected to the existing system <br /> ur.�il and unless the ;�ain has been sterii?zed in a ;nann2r approved <br /> by, and under the direction of the Water Departrnent. <br /> 7-8-1 . Each lot within the corporate limits of the City of <br /> Decatur sha11 be provided with a connection to a sanitary sewer, said <br /> service connection to terminate in the public right of way ar_d in an <br /> area not covered with sidewalk, driveway or other pavement . <br /> 7-9-1 . The subdivision snall be laid out so as to provide <br /> proper drainage of the area being subdivided. Drainage i;nprovements <br /> shall maintain any su�stantial natural water-course and shall prevent <br /> the acctnnulation of stagnant water in any low areas . A system or <br /> disposing of the storm w�ter, approved by the Department of Public <br /> Works , shall be provided. Such drainage system shall be designated in <br /> . confo rmity with the "Report on Storm Drainage `or the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois , 1966 . " <br /> 7-9-2 . If a sto rn drainage system `or a proposed subdivision is <br /> desig:�ed to outlet into an existing storm sewer svstem, the exis�ing <br /> syste:n ���t be snown �y application of generally accepted good <br /> enginearing prac*�ices ar.d principle� to be adequa_e �o carr�,� tne <br /> proposed a3ditional �1ow.
