�,�� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �9_ /?3 , <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING STOP INTERSECTION ��' <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, 'I <br /> ILLINOIS: � <br /> Section 1 . That the intersection of Country Club Road, <br /> Airport Road and North Fork Road in the City of Decatur, Illinois , <br /> be, and the same is hereby, designated as an all-way stop intersection. <br /> Section 2 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said intersection <br /> f rom any direction, shall stop and after having stopped,shall yield <br /> the right of way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection � <br /> from another direction or which is approaching so closely on the <br /> roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time when <br /> said vehicle is moving across or within the intersection, and <br /> thereafter having so stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such <br /> time as a safe interval occurs . <br /> Section 3 . That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than <br /> Two Hundred Dollars ($200 .00) for each offense . <br /> Section 4. That the provisions of all ordinances in conflict <br /> with the provisions of this ordinance which insofar as the same do <br /> conflict therewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 17th day of <br /> December, 1979 . <br /> MAY R <br /> ATTEST: <br /> � <br /> TY CLE <br />
