<br /> WHEREAS , there ha�ing been filed with the�ity Clerk,
<br /> and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition
<br /> under oath of RAYMOND C. HAN�OCK and AGNES G. HANCOCR requesting
<br /> that there be annexed t� the City territory descri.bed as set
<br /> out on Exhibit A attached he�eto and hereby made a part hereof;and,
<br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners
<br /> of record of all land within such territory and that no electors
<br /> reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the
<br /> City and not within the corporate limits of any City, Village
<br /> or Incorporated Township or ther municipality; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, notice o intention to take action for annexation
<br /> has been given as required.
<br /> � NOW, THEREFORE, B IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLTNOIS:
<br /> Section 1 . That aid petition and the request thereof
<br /> be, and the same are hereby pproved.
<br /> Section 2. That aid territory hereinabove described,
<br /> along with all parts of publ ' c highways therein or next and adjacent
<br /> thereto not heretofore annex d, if any, be, and the same are hereby,
<br /> annexed to and are incorpora ed into the limits of the City of
<br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municip 1 corporation. .
<br /> Section 3. That � plat of said annexed premises is
<br /> attached hereto and made a p�art hereof.
<br /> Section 4 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies
<br /> of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk
<br /> and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds �of Macon County, Illinois .
<br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED D RECORDED this 13th day of
