<br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLIDIOS , 9.00 Cg y. :
<br /> WHEREAS , there haviiig been filed with the City Clerk, and
<br /> by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under
<br /> oath of william Huff and others requesting that there be annexed
<br /> to the City territory described as :
<br /> Lot 2 of the Southwest Quarter ��f the Northeast Quarter
<br /> and Lot 1 of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest
<br /> Quarter all in Section 27 , Town�ship 16 North, Range 2 East
<br /> of the 3rd P.M. as per plat of the I . Boardman Estate
<br /> recorded in Book 22 page 420 of the records in the
<br /> Recorder' s Office of Macon Coun�ty, Illinois; and,
<br /> WHEREAS , it appears said petitic�n is signed by the owners I�
<br /> of record of all land within such terr:itory and that no electors �
<br /> reside therein, and that sai�l territory is contiguous to the City i
<br /> and not within the corporate , limits of any City, Village, or �
<br /> Incorporated Town or other municipalit;r; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation
<br /> has been given as required.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED E3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS :
<br /> Section l . That said petition a�nd the request thereof be,
<br /> and the same are hereby approved.
<br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along
<br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent
<br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are
<br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the
<br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
<br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached
<br /> hereto and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 4 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies of
<br /> this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and
<br /> recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
<br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 22nc�ay of October, 1579 .
