AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY ENTIRELY 9� SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATUR WHEREAS, certain unincorporated territory described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 4 of Broadmoor Place Addition as recorded in Book 982 Page 21 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois ; thence southerly on the East line of Lots 4 and 5 of said addition a distance of 109 feet; thence Easterly 12 feet; thence Northerly on a line 12 feet fro� and � . � p�arallel to the East line of said Lots 4 and 5 , � 109 feet to the South right of way line of Sesom Drive; thence Westerly 12 feet on the South riqht of way line of Sesom Drive to the point of beginning; is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS , such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in' area; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that such territory should be annexed to said City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS , notice of the contemplated annexation of said territory has been given as provided by law. . . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said territory or premises above described be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and made a part of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said premises herein annexed is hereto attached and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
