Maple and Doris 'J. Maple requesting that there be <br /> � <br /> ° annexed to the City territory described as : <br /> Lot Eleven (11) of Moses A. Nickey' s 2nd Shore <br /> Acres Addition to the City of Decatur, Illinois , <br /> as per plat recorded in Book 536 , page 6 of the <br /> records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, <br /> Illinois; and, <br /> WFiEREAS , it appears sai3 petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least SIo of the <br /> � electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous <br /> to the City and not within the corporate limits of any City, <br /> Village or Incorporated Town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has <br /> been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATliR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto <br /> not heretofore annexed, if any, be , and the same are hereby, annexed <br /> to and are incorparated into the limits of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois , a municipa7. corporation. <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto an3 made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4.
