� - . . - , f � • , � . , ��`�""" ' ORDINANCE NO._��L_�,�J�', AN ORDIN�NCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Richard C. Hundley and Norma Lee Hundley requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as : The North Half of Lot Five (5) of Fairground Home Sites an addition of Out Lots to the City of Decatur, Illinois, as per plat recorded in Book 802 page 112 , of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all l�nd �aithin such territory and by at least 51% of the electars residing therein, and that such territory is contiguous to th� City and not within the corporate limits of any City, Village , ' or Incorporated Town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with a11 parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises i� attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 4. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of th;_:� or�inance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
