M1CR0�11�, <br /> ORDINANCE N0. y��� <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That the intersection of Marietta Street and <br /> Church Street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same <br /> is hereby, designated and established as a four-way stop intersection. <br /> Section Z . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said intersection <br /> from any direction, shall stop and after having so stopped, shall <br /> yield the right of way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection <br /> from another direction or which is approaching so closely on the <br /> roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time when <br /> said vehicle is moving across or�within the intersection, and <br /> thereafter having so stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such <br /> time as a safe interval occurs . <br />' Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1 .00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4 .
