' I ��Y.-_��� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �� � <br /> AN ORDINANCE CALLING AND PROVIDING FOR <br /> REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That the Regular Municipal Election to be held <br /> pursuant to law be, and the same is hereby, called to be held in <br /> and for the City of Decatur, Illinois, on the 17th day of April � <br /> 1979 , for the purpose of electing the `ollwing, to-wit: <br /> One for the office of Mayor of said City for <br /> a regular term; <br /> and, <br /> Three for the office of Councilman of said City, <br /> for regular terms; <br /> and for voting upon the following propositions : <br /> Shall the City of Decatur, Illinois cease to <br /> be a home rule unit of government? <br /> Shall the City of Decatur, Illinois adopt the <br /> strong mayor form of government? <br /> Section 2. That the legal voters of said City shall vote in <br /> the respective election precincts as no�ra established in which they <br /> reside, at the polling place shown for the particular election pre- <br /> cinct as set out in the list hereto attached and made a part hereof <br /> and marked "List of Polling Places and Addresses Thereof. " <br />
