. , ' ` .: DVIICROfltM� � ORDINANCE N0.��9"2 `� AN ORDINANCE GR.ANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT - TELEVISION BROADCASTING TOWER - , WHEREAS , on the lst day of February, 1979 , upon due not�ce, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of General Electric Cable vision for a Special Use Permit under the provisions of Section XXI (A) (j ) of the Zoning Ordinance � to allow the construction and use of a television broadcasting '� tower upon premises situated in the City of Decatur, Illinois, I and describ ed as follows : ' The North 50 feet of Lot Nine (9) in Block One (1) of North Addition to the City of Decatur as per plat recorded in Book 2 page 125 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS , said Decatur City Plan Commission did report its findings and did recommend that said petition be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the report and recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2 . That upon the conditions hereinafter mentioned, a Special Use Permit be, and it is hereby, granted to General Electric Cablevision to construct and use a television broadcasting tower on the premises aforesaid. Section 3. That said Special Use Permit authorized hereby be, and the same is expressly conditioned as follows : (a) Said television broadcasting tower shall not exceed a height of 180 feet, and shall be a self-supporting Unarco-Rohn model XHJC-8417-R1 . (b) Said tower shall be erected at the location shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
