Thet 7t�s �nstrument Mles �led For <br /> II � ` Rec�d A� � •nn A.�7• Artd <br /> MICROFlLM On <br /> j� o�n�.vc� Ivo. �9-20 �'t� ; � ;,;��, <br /> I � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY '��j�B0°�P�S�-• <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS �,���"`��� <br /> s <br /> ��� �g Recorder af Deeds <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath <br /> of T & T Co. , requesting that there be annexed to the City territory <br /> described as : <br /> A tract beginning 4 . 54 chains west of the Southeast Corner <br /> of the Northwest Quarter of Section 33 Township 16 North, <br /> Range 2 East of the 3rd P.NI. , thence North 7 . 25 chains , thence <br /> West 27. 58� chains , thence South 7 .25 chains , thence East <br /> 27. 58? chains to the place of beginning, situated in the County <br /> of Macon, State of Illinois. <br /> WHEREAS , it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> recor3 of all land within such territory and that no elect�rs reside <br /> therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not <br /> within the corporate limits of any City, Village, or Incorporated Town <br /> or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexation has <br /> been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and <br /> the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, �along with <br /> all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not <br /> heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby , annexed to and <br /> are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a ; <br /> municipal corporation. � <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance <br /> to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the <br /> Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois . <br /> PRESENTED, P�SSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 13 day of February , <br /> 19 79 . <br /> Elmer W.
