' enforceahle contract of insurance, with the person or the enti.ty that is to perform the work and the City as named insureds , affording coverage for each occurrence of personal injury of not less than $300 ,000 and for property damage of not less than $Z00 ,000 and expressly providing that the same remain in effect for the term thereof absent written notice of cancellation received by said Cle=k, in which event said permit shall automatically termi.nate to the same extent as if the same had been physically withdrawn and cancelled. Section 14 . The currently existing provisions of Chapter 43.1 and Chapter 44 of the City Code are hereby repealed, as are ordinances numbered, 504I , 5140 , 5143 , 5144 , 5156 , 5348 , 5709 , 5946 , 5952 and 6034 and sections 1 through 25 , 27 through 37 , and 40 through 43, inclusive, of ordinance number 5919 . Section 15. Any person or entity that erects , constructs , alters, repairs , removes or demolishes a building or structure without a permit required by said Code or this ordinance , or in departure fram or not in compliance with an approved plan, or that uses or occupies a building or structure without a required permit, whether or not notice is received that such is a violation, or that continues work after a stop-wor3c order has been issued, served or posted, or that removes such a posted o=der, or that procures or causes another to do, or to nmit, as the case may be, any of the foregoing, or that having been given notice thereof otherwise violates or fails to comply with the provisions of said Code or this ordinance shall upon conviction of any such offense be fined not to exceed $500 , and each day upon which a violation occurs or is allowed to continue, -or a condition is not brought into compliance after notice, shall .be v�ewed and may be prosecuted as a separate - 9 -
