� • <br /> f � st , �O���f� <br /> �-• <br /> ORDINANCE N0. �� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS , there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to tne Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of KENNETH McFARLA1vD and others requesting that there be annexed <br /> to the City territory described as : <br /> The Lout..'� Half of Lot 5 and the South Half of Lot 10 <br /> of Fairground Home Sites as per plat recorded in <br /> Book 802 �ge 112 of the records in the Recorder ' s <br /> Office o� Macon County, Illinois; <br /> and, <br /> WN�REAS , it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of the <br /> - electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous <br /> to the City and not within the corporate limits of any City , Village , <br /> or Incorperated Town or other municipali`y; and, <br /> �aHEREAS , ncti.^_e of intention to take action for ar_nexation has <br /> been givPn as required. <br /> '_�tOW, THEREFORE , BE TT ORDAINED BY THE COj_TNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATU�, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l.
