- � ! . . '�iCRO'�i-�� { . ORDINANCE NO. �/�� ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE CHAPTER 66 - CONTROL OF LAKE DECATUR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section l. That the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and it is hereby amended at Section 17 . 3 . of Chapter 66 thereof so that said Section as so amended shall provide as follows : 17. 3 . Applications for license shall be accompanied by a fee as follows for each boat or craft: Row boats, canoes , kyacks and other craft propelled by muscle power $ 7 .50 Sail boats 12 . 50 Motor boats ; 1-50 horsepower 12 . 50 51-100 horsepower 15 .00 " 101-150 horsepower 17. 50 151-200 horsepower 20 .00 over 200 horsepower 22 . 50 The horsepower of an engine is that determined by the manufacturer thereof. In case a boat or craft is so constructed or rigged to be propelled by more than one ty�,ie or size of propulsion, the fee to be paid shall be higher specified herein for the several sizes or types of propulsion. Section 2 . That said Chapter of said Code be, and it is hereby, further. amended at Section 17. 5 . th�reof by substituting $7.50 in lieu of $5 .00 therein. Section 3. That said Chapter of said Code be, and it is hereby, further araended at Section 27 thereof by substituting $10 . 00 in lieu of $2.00 in subparagraph (d) and (f) and by substituting a comr�a in lieu of the period at the end of the last sentence in each of said S�- paragraphs ar_d thereafter adding the following provision: along with a sum equal to the cost of labor, material and equipr.lent use to the City connected with such action in excess of $10 .00 and with a charge of $2 .00 for each day or part thereof during wh�c:: the same is in the custody of the City, which said custody shall be at the risk of the owner ther�of.
