✓ �, �` 1Qs�1�8 Boo�1987 racf459 ��, �'' - ORDINANC� N0. 78-141 � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECA�'UR, ILLINOIS WHERF.AS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City ', of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of BRINTLII�GER CO. , a ' carporation, requestin� that premises set out in Exhibit A hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof by reference be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that sa�d petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said preml.'��^�a�d that,NorAh�, there are no electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City , Village , T_ncorporated Town or other r�unicipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as pro�ided by statute . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the said territory hereinabove described along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto, not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat oi said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorcer of needs of Macon County , Illinois .
