� , <br /> ." •.; <br /> . <br /> �►�CROFlLM � <br /> ORDINANCE N0 . � I 3 � <br /> AN ORDINANCE MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY <br /> FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR FOR THE FISCAL <br /> YEAR 1978 - 1979 <br /> WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Decatur , Illinois , did , on <br /> the 17th day of July , 1978 , pass the annual appropriation ordinance <br />' for the City of Decatur , fcr the fiscal year beginning with the lst <br /> day of May , 1978 , and ending on the 30th day of April , 1979 , in the <br /> - - ine T ousand <br /> aggregate sum of Thirty two Million Four Hundred Forty n h <br /> Five Hundred Three Dollars ($32 , 449 , 503 . 00) , which said ordinance was <br /> approved on the 17th day of July , 1978 , and published on the 18th day <br /> of July , 1978, the objects and purposes for which the several appro- <br /> priations were made being sho*an by a copy of said Annual Appropriation <br /> Ordinance hereto attached and made a part hereof . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOl'S : <br /> Section 1 . That there is hereby levied upon all the taxable <br /> property within the corporate limits of the City of Decatur , Illinois , <br /> as the same is taxed and equalized for State and County purposes for <br /> the fiscal year beginning with the lst day of May , 1978 , and ending on <br /> the 30th day of April , 1979 , the sum of Thirty-two Million Four Hundred , <br /> Forty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Three Dollars ($32 , 449 , 503 . 00) , the <br /> objects and purposes for which said sum is hereby levied and is • <br /> apportioned among the several objects and purposes herein specified <br /> as follows : <br /> For the oper. ation of Public Library <br /> Reading Rooms to be known as the <br /> Library Fund $935 , 000 <br />
