. ' �I1ICROFI�M�D <br /> ORDINANCE NO. z � - I �,� <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOS : <br /> Section 1. That the intersection of Center Street with <br /> Summit Avenue in the City of Decatur, Illinois, be and the same <br /> is hereby, designated and established as a four-way stop <br /> intersection. <br /> Section 2 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> rn t ice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said intersection <br /> from any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, <br /> shall yield the right of way to any vehicle which has entered <br /> the intersection from another direction or which is approaching <br /> so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during <br /> the time when said vehicle is moving across or within the <br /> intersection, and thereafter having so stopped and so yielded, <br /> may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, <br /> be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Two <br /> Hundred Dollars ($200 .00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4 .
