''�� � <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Cler:{ of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of David E . Turner and <br /> Linda M. Turner requesting that premises described as : <br /> Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot Twelve (12) <br /> of Moses A. Nickey' s 2nd Shore Acres Addition to the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois as per plat recorded in Book <br /> 536 Page 6 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois , thence east 150 feet, thence <br /> south 7D feet, trence west 150 feet, thence north 70 <br /> feet to the point of beginning; <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WFiEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed <br /> by all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no <br /> electors residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, <br /> Illir.ois, and is not a part of any City, Village , Incor�orated <br /> Town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of . <br /> said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto , r.ot heretcfore anzexed, if any, be, and the same are rereby, <br /> annexed to and are incorpvrated into the limits of the City of <br /> �ecatur, Illinois, a munici�al corporation. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and ma3e a part hereof. <br /> Section 3 .
